Access to various databases where users can search, view, and download the online resources of the library. Access can be on campus or remote access depending on the university’s subscription. The List of databases can be viewed under the Online Resources tab.

Books can be renewed online if there is no user who reserved the said material. For renewal, simply #AskValerie.

Users may request various accounts (i.e. iLib, OpenAthens, etc.) to access the different databases and research tools that the library subscribes. You may request your account using the Online Library Portal (http://bit.ly/CVMIASLibOnlinePortal)

Clients are given updates (via email, social media, or through this website) on available recent print and online library materials and resources including links to useful and relevant websites. New Acquisitions Lists are emailed to them and posted on this website and bulletin boards.  Contents pages (received via RSS feed) of subscribed and open access veterinary and vet-related e-journals and links to full-text articles and eBooks relevant to courses are also sent to them.

Resources that are hard to obtain as well the scanning for a selected chapter of available print resource can be requested to the library. Use our Online Library Portal (http://bit.ly/CVMIASLibOnlinePortal) to submit your request.

Clientele may send their inquiries whether directional or ready reference questions, bibliographical, technical, instructional questions, or even research assistance to Valerie, the virtual reference assistant of the library. You may reach her using this website chatbox, the library’s social media pages, or the library’s email address.

Users may also request assistance in searching available resources and references, or reading materials on specific topics for their researches, etc. Request can be submitted using our Online Library Portal (http://bit.ly/CVMIASLibOnlinePortal).
