The CVM Library is housed in the CVM-IAS Communal Building, UPLB Campus near the College and IAS lecture rooms. It has 364.25 mground floor and 345 m2 mezzanine floors, both functional, with a sitting capacity of 100 persons. It has reserve, circulation, periodicals, theses and Filipiniana sections located in the ground floor. Its multimedia and parasitology reference  collections,  as well as computer room are in the Mezzanine floor.

The library has the largest and most complete collection of veterinary medicine books and other vet-related materials in the country. It is equipped with personal computers, laptops, iPADs which are used by clients in browsing audiovisuals and accessing online databases through wi-fi and wired internet connections. Both the DVM and MS programs are sufficiently backed up with print and electronic books, veterinary and veterinary-related journals and magazines, instructional CDs and DVDs; and other special collections. The library holdings are accessible within and outside the campus through the UPLB Web OPAC.

Some of the college memorabilia particularly photos of the first  Filipino (1911) and Filipina (1933) veterinarians; college alumni roster (1914-present) and paintings of alumni are also displayed in the library.

The library caters to the reference and information needs of CVM, IAS and other U.P. students, faculty and researchers.  Aside from veterinarians and experts in animal science, researchers in related fields (zoologists, taxonomists, pharmacologists, etc.) from several institutions in the country are also among the library clientele.
